Finale Ligure has been voted one of the top 10 MTB destinations in the world, and riding it for the first time feels like cheating: the trails are simply too good to be real. Ancient mule paths, hand-cut berms, rooty forest singletrack, and sandstone slabs combine into a network that keeps delivering for days.
We meet in the medieval village of Finalborgo and self-shuttle or pedal up via the main gravel road (shuttle option available, book separately). The day consists of three linked loops totaling ~35 km with ~1,100 m of descent. Highlights include the classic Cipressa trail, the rooty chaos of Briga, and the flowy finish of Flow Country that spits you back into town.
Pace is trail-riding not a race. We stop for snacks, regrouping, and photos. A mechanic is on call via WhatsApp for any trailside issues. Group dinner at a local pizzeria is highly recommended (self-organized).
This event is not suitable for hardtail beginners a full-suspension bike is strongly advised.
